The Gold Coast is located in South East Queensland, 80 km/50 mile from Queensland's capital, Brisbane. Gold Coast City is serviced by two international airports - Gold Coast Airport and Brisbane Airport. The Gold Coast connects to Brisbane via the eight-lane Pacific Motorway to the north. Travel distances are as follows: Brisbane CBD to Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa = approx 80 km/50 mile Brisbane Domestic/International Airport to Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa = 87 km/54 mile Gold Coast Airport to Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa = approx 20 km/12 mile
From Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast): drive north along the Gold Coast Highway to north side of Surfers Paradise (Ferny Avenue). From Brisbane Airports: from Airport, follow the signs for the Gold Coast on the Gateway Arterial Motorway. Take the South East Freeway (M1) exit to the Gold Coast. Exit at Southport via Smith Street and follow the signs for Surfers Paradise. Turn right at the Gold Coast Highway intersection and after approx 4 km turn right into Palm Avenue, then right into Ferny Avenue. The Resort is located approx 500 m on right. An airport shuttle service is available for travel between the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa and Coolangatta (Gold Coast) Airport or Brisbane Domestic and International Airports. This service stops at other Gold Coast hotels. Fare for one way travel to/from Coolangatta Airport is AUD$18 and Brisbane Airports is AUD$37. Robina Station is the closest station to the Conference venue. Delegates who book with Airtrain Conference are entitled to a 10% discount on regular transfer prices, and will be transferred by chauffered vehicle direct to the Conference venue.
